Surface Pattern Design

Hi, I'm Anne-Marieke Melk and my Surface Pattern Design studio is based in The Netherlands. It's such an inspiration to live in the Dutch low lands. I'm surrounded with green acres, a beautiful lake and it's just 30 minutes away from the lovely North Sea and our Big City Amsterdam.

There are so many things influencing my designs. From the the never ending Dutch rain and my snoaring cat to my second hand retro vase and art deco book collection. I just see patterns everywhere!
